Does Your Logo and Branding Need a Lift?

Update Your Logo, Update Your Brand

You wouldn't go to a chiropractor for dental work, so why would you let a non-designer create your company's logo? First impressions mean everything to your company, so why not create a brand that separates you from the rest!

Tell customers who you are and what you offer by creating an image that lives in their hearts and minds. Your brand should convey the values, character, and essence of your company. Be sure to share who you are on your website, social channels, and face-to-face.

Since your business is most likely focused on growth and development, it's important to remember that your business identity can make or break you.

Spending money on a logo is one of the best investments you can make because your logo is your brand and first impression of your company. Having said that, it's not necessary to spend thousands of dollars to create an impressive and professional logo. Many designers are very skilled and also reasonably priced. I'd be happy to share a few names.

Branding your business should be a long-term goal; not a popularity contest. The effects of compelling brand marketing can make you a household name like Nike, Coca-Cola, or Apple. If you examine all these brand traits, you will see branding that evokes emotion and loyalty among consumers. Your goal should not only be gaining exposure, but also sustaining a way of life within your brand that people can relate to.

True branding begins with your values and mission, but also encompasses every aspect of your company. Developing core values are important building blocks to brand development for your company. In order to create a cohesive brand, it is essential that every part of your identity from your logo, to marketing collateral, to visual assets follows the same theme.

Developing a consistent strategy of why people want or need your products/services will give worth to your brand and define the monetary value of your offerings. Being genuine and transparent across all outlets: website, social media, and public interaction, carries weight and defines how people view your company.  It also generates high intrinsic value, separating you from competitors by establishing you as an industry leader and premium brand.

This, in turn, allows you to have more influence over the value of your product or service within the market because of your superior image, and provides consumers with a reason to believe in you over your competition.

Remember, you are building your company's worth by thinking about the image your company projects through branding, and by defining why you exist and why others want to be a part of it.
